Split Foam Back™ – PMD
Originally designed as midge patterns for the Grey Reef section of the North Platte River, the Split Foam Back™ is a unique and highly effective fly pattern featuring a small strip of dense foam that enhances both the appearance and buoyancy of the fly. A split down the back incorporates flash material for added attraction, and select patterns may be slightly weighted to help get the fly down in the water column.
With incredible detail for such small flies, the Split Foam Back™ has become our most successful midge pattern.
Other available colors include: Orange Head Baetis, Black, BWO, Brown, Grey, Purple Back Orange Head Baetis, Tan, Trico, Olive, Red & PMD.
Depending on the pattern, available in sizes #16 – #22.
