Bring active reset to your PSA JAKL-15. This fully machined Slip Trip Kit is the missing link between your JAKL and a Hoffman Super Safety or AS Designs ARC-Fire V2 — one kit, both 5.56/.223 and 300 Blackout, no printed parts anywhere.

What's in the Kit

  • JAKL-15 Trip — 7075-T6 aluminum, hardcoat black anodized
  • JAKL Rear Takedown Lug Block — 4140 steel, heat treated, black oxide
  • (4x) 8-32×3/8" Torx screws

⚠ Gen 1 JAKL-15 owners: the Gen 1 uses a flat bolt face that will damage the Slip Trip. You can still run this kit, but the bolt face needs two small chamfer cuts at the bottom first — AS Designs provides pictures and a jig file, and Desk Pop's YouTube walkthrough covers the process. If you're not sure which gen you have, ask us before ordering.
⚠ Read before ordering — installation is not trivial. PSA installs the factory rear lug screws with red Loctite and high torque. Removal can require serious heat and in some cases drilling the screws out — difficulty varies upper to upper, and AS Designs is not responsible for damage to your JAKL. We strongly recommend a licensed gunsmith for the Rear Takedown Lug Block. If you're not comfortable with that risk, this is not the kit for you.
13.7" and 14.5" 5.56 upper note: a PSA production change widened part of the bolt ~0.2mm on these uppers, which can cause the trip to bind. Fix: a hand-filed chamfer on those rails, 1.5–2mm wide at roughly 45° — no precision machining needed. A hammer spring is roughly 1mm diameter if you don't have calipers.

Anti-walk pins (NOT anti-rotation) strongly recommended in all AR-style lowers.
