Marine battery terminal covers for batteries fitted with adapter terminals, providing red and black insulation for compatible 4, 2, and 1 AWG cable connections.

The Blue Sea Systems 4005 Standard CableCap Small Pair covers battery terminals with added marine adapter terminals. The pair includes one red cap and one black cap for clear polarity identification. Sized for 4, 2, and 1 AWG cable applications, the covers help insulate exposed connections and reduce the risk of accidental contact in marine electrical installations.

Fits batteries with added marine adapter terminals for the intended application.
Compatible with 4, 2, and 1 AWG cable sizes for specified battery-cable installations.
Includes red and black caps to help identify positive and negative connections.
Insulates battery terminals to help reduce accidental contact with exposed electrical connections.
Small-pair format supplies one cover for each polarity connection.

The 4005 Standard CableCap pair is intended for marine batteries that use adapter terminals added to the battery posts. Install the appropriately colored cap over each compatible terminal after the cable and adapter-terminal arrangement is complete.

Using red and black covers makes polarity easier to identify during battery inspection and service. The caps provide a physical insulating barrier around the covered terminals, helping protect exposed connection points from unintended contact.

These covers are suited to boating and other marine electrical applications using 4, 2, or 1 AWG battery cable. Confirm that the battery has marine adapter terminals and that the cable size matches the stated range before installation.
