Class T fuse for high-current DC circuit protection, the Blue Sea Systems 5115 provides 175A protection with an extremely fast short-circuit response for marine electrical systems, inverters, and large battery banks.

This stud-mount A3T fuse is rated at 175A and provides 20,000A interrupt capacity for demanding DC protection applications. It supports systems up to 125V DC and is intended for use with compatible Class T fuse blocks. The fuse is UL listed to standard 248-15 and DC tested to UL standard 198L.

This Class T fuse is designed for installation in a compatible fuse block as part of a high-current DC distribution system. Typical applications include main battery protection, inverter circuits, inverter/chargers, and marine electrical power systems where rapid fault interruption is required. Its 175A rating allows the fuse to protect appropriately sized conductors and connected equipment when selected according to the system design. The 20,000A interrupt capacity is suited to battery banks capable of delivering substantial short-circuit current, including systems using lithium-ion or TPPL batteries. Use the 5007100 fuse block for the 110–200A Class T size range; larger Class T fuse blocks are not interchangeable. The fuse itself is not ignition protected and should be installed according to applicable marine electrical and safety requirements.
