The meter uses an external 50 mV shunt rated for the 0–100A range. Current is sensed through the shunt connection, and the meter does not require a separate power connection for its measurement operation. Separate backlight connections support 12V DC or 24V DC illumination, allowing the display to match the vessel’s electrical system.
