This digital ammeter gives boat owners, installers, and electrical-system users a direct view of current flow rather than relying on estimates. The included 500-amp shunt connects to the monitored DC circuit and provides the signal used by the meter. The standard configuration operates with the shunt on the negative side of the circuit; a Shunt Shifter is required for positive-side installations such as alternator applications.
