Contura switch actuator for replacing or customizing compatible Blue Sea Systems switch assemblies, with a black finish and no lens for an unlit actuator configuration.

This replacement actuator mounts on any Blue Sea Systems Contura Switch. Its thermal plastic polycarbonate construction with a hard nylon surface overlay provides a firm, finished switching surface for marine, RV, and automotive electrical panels. The no-lens configuration is intended for switches without an embedded LED indication.

  • Compatible fit: Mounts on any Blue Sea Systems Contura Switch for straightforward actuator replacement or configuration.
  • Black finish: Coordinates with black Contura switch assemblies and panel layouts.
  • No-lens configuration: Suits switch setups without an embedded LED indicator.
  • Polycarbonate construction: Provides a formed actuator body for routine switch operation.
  • Hard nylon surface overlay: Adds a finished contact surface for repeated pressing.
  • Broad application range: Supports compatible electrical switch layouts in boating, RV, and automotive installations.

The Blue Sea Systems 8296 is a replacement Contura actuator intended for compatible marine and vehicle electrical switch assemblies. Install it on a Blue Sea Systems Contura Switch when an existing actuator needs replacement or when a black, non-illuminated actuator is preferred.

The actuator uses thermal plastic polycarbonate with a hard nylon surface overlay. Its no-lens design corresponds to a configuration without an embedded LED indicator, keeping the switch face visually simple for applications where illumination isn’t required.

Use it when servicing or organizing switch panels for boating, RV, and automotive electrical systems. Because this component is an actuator rather than a complete electrical switch, the compatible Contura switch mechanism is required for operation.
