Built for users who want fast deployment and secure handling, this manual folder combines a thumb disk with the Emerson Wave Shaped Feature for opening as it clears the pocket. The modified clip-point blade is made from D2 tool steel, which is known for strong edge retention and hardness, with improved corrosion resistance compared with many high-carbon steels. A textured G10 front scale and stainless steel back support a frame lock for confident use. The reversible pocket clip supports left- or right-handed carry with tip-up orientation.
- D2 blade steel: Offers strong edge retention and hardness for cutting tasks that benefit from staying sharp longer.
- Emerson Wave Shaped Feature: Lets the knife open as it is drawn, reducing the steps needed for fast access.
- Thumb disk opener: Gives you a manual opening option when you want controlled blade deployment.
- Textured G10 front scale: Improves grip security during everyday cutting use.
- Reversible pocket clip: Supports left- or right-handed carry in a tip-up position.
The CQC-6K D2 blends Kershaw’s knife-making with Emerson’s functional design approach, making it a practical folding knife for EDC, work carry, and field use. Its modified clip-point blade is suited to general cutting tasks where a balanced point and useful belly matter. The combination of a frame lock, textured handle material, and dual opening methods gives the knife a straightforward, purpose-built feel. For users who value fast pocket access and a compact folding format, this model delivers a clear set of carry-focused features.
The two-tone blade finish adds visual contrast while the stonewashed grind helps reduce the appearance of wear from regular use.
