Mars AK-47 FRT V2 | Triggercon Gold Medal Winner | Spring-Loaded Reset

The most decorated AK trigger ever made. The Mars AK FRT earned the Triggercon 2024 Gold Medal for Engineering — the first AK-platform forced reset trigger in history to win it — and the V2 is that award-winning design refined. A spring-loaded reset system with captive trip-bar, machined from 4140 chromoly and stainless steel, field-proven at Kalashbash, and built and tested in Texas. If you want the AK FRT the industry itself put a gold medal on, this is it.

🏅 What the Gold Medal Means

Triggercon is where the trigger industry judges its own. In 2024, the Mars AK design took the Gold Medal for Engineering — recognition no AK-platform FRT had ever achieved. The AK's loose tolerances and stamped-receiver variance make it the hardest platform to build a reliable reset system for; Mars solved it well enough that the judges made it official.

⚙️ What's New in V2

• Spring-loaded Safety Rocker return — the V2's integrated spring eliminates the V1's manual reset dependency: automatic return, faster and more consistent reset with every pull, and a key tuning variable removed from installation.
• Captive trip-bar design — secure engagement with the bolt carrier, minimizing malfunctions under high-volume fire.
• Redesigned AK trigger — greater precision and responsiveness, with refined control of the rate of fire.
• 4140 chromoly + stainless steel — hardened components built for thousands of rounds.

Field-Proven, Not Just Bench-Proven

The Mars AK system has been demonstrated live at Kalashbash — including runs in Palmetto State Armory GF3 rifles — in front of the most demanding AK crowd there is. That's where an AK part earns its reputation, and this one did.

Compatibility

Support Behind It

Mars backs the AK V2 with a full compatibility chart, complete installation manual, platform-specific demonstration videos on Instagram (@mars.trigger25), video consultations, and optional professional installation by their lead engineer. This is the most supported AK FRT on the market — the gold medal came with a paper trail.
