    Why Buffer Weight Is the #1 FRT Setup Problem

    A standard carbine buffer (~3 oz) cycles too fast for any FRT or Super Safety to reset reliably. The bolt carrier returns to battery before the forced reset mechanism has time to engage. Result: failures to reset, short-stroke symptoms, and inconsistent cycling — all blamed on the trigger when the buffer is the actual problem. H2 (4.6 oz) is the minimum.     Do I still need a separate H2 or H3 buffer if I buy the HFRT?
    No. That's the point of the HFRT — the correct buffer weight for FRT and Super Safety cycling is built into the system. You do not need to source a separate H2, H2.5, or H3 buffer. One product handles everything.
    Will this work with the Triggered Company Disruptor?
    Yes — it's the buffer system we recommend for every Disruptor build. The Disruptor requires H2 minimum and H3 recommended for carbine-length builds. The HFRT is engineered around this range and is a direct drop-in pairing with the Disruptor.
