The HX40 is a practical handheld communication tool for fishing boats, dinghies, personal watercraft, and any vessel that benefits from a compact backup radio. CH16/S quick access gives you immediate reach to channel 16 and the sub-channel function, while the easy menu system keeps common settings accessible during active use. The radio includes the antenna, adapters, charging cradle, hand strap, belt clip, and owner's manual, so it is ready for setup out of the box. It is also covered by a 3-year waterproof warranty.
The unit can float only when fitted with the optional SHC-29 flotation case. The speaker mic is optional, and built-in GPS and Bluetooth are not included.
