Divine Knives

Handcrafted Damascus cutlery brand offering pattern-welded straight razors, bowie knives, chef knives, cleavers, and folders in the traditional Wazirabad cutlery tradition.

Brand Overview

Founded: See below · HQ: Import label sourcing from Wazirabad, Pakistan cutlery cluster · Founder: Private-label brand sourcing from established Wazirabad workshops

Divine Knives handcrafted Damascus straight razor with a resin handle, three quarter studio angle on light gray background
Divine Knives is a private-label handcrafted cutlery brand that draws on the Wazirabad, Punjab region of Pakistan, a cluster of family-run workshops that has produced hand-forged blades for global export for decades. The Lotz Outdoors assortment spans straight razors, bowie knives, chef knives, cleavers, and folders in the classic pattern-welded Damascus style, typically built from 1095 high-carbon and 15N20 nickel-alloy steel folded and forge-welded dozens to hundreds of times to produce the signature wavy pattern. Handle materials include rosewood, buffalo horn, camel bone, and mosaic pins, all fitted by hand rather than injection-molded, and each blade is closer to a small-batch craft product than to mass-manufactured cutlery. The brand does not have a public corporate identity in the way a factory maker does, and buyers should treat it as an import label rather than a fixed-headquarters manufacturer. Why We Added This Brand

We added Divine Knives because handmade Damascus cutlery fills a decorative and collectible niche that sits above our practical hunting and camping knife inventory. Our customers regularly ask for gift-grade blades for groomsmen, hunters, and knife enthusiasts, and the mid-tier Damascus band (roughly $140 to $300) is a space where the alternatives are usually Etsy listings from a single small shop or thin big-box lines. The Divine Knives lineup gives us a one-stop source across 231 SKUs, so a customer looking for a chef knife, a bowie for display, and a straight razor as a gift can find all three under a single label. The Wazirabad manufacturing tradition also lets us offer authentic pattern-welded Damascus at a working-hardness range (58 to 62 HRC) that competes on function rather than being purely decorative. Compared to the JW SteelCrafts Damascus lineup we already carry, Divine Knives sits at a lower average price point and covers more finished-piece configurations rather than blank blades.

What Stood Out To Us

What stood out about Divine Knives is the handwork behind each piece. Wazirabad-style Damascus is typically folded and forge-welded dozens to hundreds of times (workshops in the region advertise 150 to over 300 layers), and the visible pattern is the result of true pattern welding rather than acid etching on a monosteel blade. Handle fitting is done piece by piece, so features like scrimshaw engraving on the bone straight razor handles are hand-etched rather than laser-printed, and mosaic pins, ram horn, and stabilized rosewood all show up across the same catalog. The trade-off is that quality control varies more than with mass-manufactured cutlery: no two blades are identical, and buyers should treat these as handmade pieces rather than uniform factory output. (Sources: Nothing But Knives guide to Damascus steel Etsy example of a 400-layer Damascus straight razor)

Best For

Best for outdoorsmen, hunters, and cooks who want a hand-forged Damascus blade with genuine pattern welding and a natural handle material, collectors building a display of one-of-a-kind blades, and gift buyers looking for a distinctive, gift-boxed piece for groomsmen, hunters, or knife enthusiasts. Also a fit for customers who want a working straight razor for shaving and prefer the balance and edge of a traditional pattern-welded blade over a factory razor.

How It Fits Our Catalog

Divine Knives slots into Lotz Outdoors as a decorative and premium-gift tier above standard fixed-blade and folding knives. The lineup pairs naturally with our existing hunting and camping knives, complements the JW SteelCrafts Damascus axes and blades already in the catalog, and gives customers building a hunting kit or a kitchen upgrade a distinctive alternative to plain factory steel. It also anchors a new gift-driven browsing path across our knife categories, particularly around wedding, holiday, and Father's Day gifting seasons.

Brand FAQ

Customers frequently ask the following questions about Divine Knives.

Is Divine Knives Damascus steel real pattern-welded steel or an etched imitation?
The Wazirabad Damascus tradition Divine Knives draws from uses true pattern-welded 1095 and 15N20 steel folded and forge-welded to produce the wavy pattern. That said, buyers should check the individual product page for the specific steel type and layer count claimed on each piece, since detail varies across the 231 SKUs.

How should I care for a Damascus blade so the pattern does not fade?
Wipe the blade dry after every use, avoid the dishwasher, and apply a thin coat of mineral oil, camellia oil, or a similar food-safe blade oil after cleaning. High-carbon Damascus can develop light surface patina over time, which is normal, but standing water or citrus juice will encourage rust if left on the blade.

Will a handmade Damascus knife hold an edge as well as a factory knife?
A well heat-treated pattern-welded Damascus blade at 58 to 62 HRC holds an edge comparably to many mid-range factory steels. Edge retention depends heavily on the individual maker's heat treatment quality, which varies more in handmade batches than in mass production, so buyers who prioritize predictable long-run edge retention may want to also consider our factory-brand knives.

Hydroglow Marine Lights

Cleveland, Tennessee family-run marine LED lighting manufacturer specializing in underwater fishing lights, dock lights, floodlights, and solar pathway lights.

Brand Overview

Founded: 1999 · HQ: Cleveland and Apison, Tennessee · Founder: Second-generation family-owned marine lighting manufacturer

Hydroglow Marine Lights compact dock light with cool blue LED glow, studio product photography on light gray background
HydroGlow, Inc. was founded in 1999 and describes itself as the original underwater and dock fishing light manufacturer, now a second-generation family-run business with its corporate office and distribution operations in the Cleveland, Tennessee area. The brand markets itself as proudly Made in America, and sells through specialty marine and tackle retailers alongside its own site. The product line is focused: LED submersible fishing lights (HG500G and HG1000G), above-water DockMaster dock lights, Sea Floor Dock Lights, FL50 series LED floodlights, and Solar Pathway lights across green, blue, and daylight white color options. No evidence of private-equity ownership or a large parent corporation was found, and all available sourcing points to an independent, family-owned manufacturer running its 25th year in business. (Sources: Hydroglow official site TackleDirect Hydroglow retailer page Carolina Sportsman coverage of night fishing lights)

Product Categories and Related Collections

The Hydroglow assortment at Lotz Outdoors is a focused 36-SKU marine lighting lineup. The core of the line is submersible LED fishing lights (HG500G and HG1000G) in green, plus above-water DockMaster lights and Sea Floor Dock Lights in blue and green. Support items round out the range: FL50 LED floodlights in white and green, and small solar pathway lights in blue, green, and daylight white for waterfront paths and steps. At Lotz Outdoors the new Hydroglow assortment lands in our underwater lighting collection, our flood and spreader lights collection, our docking accessories collection, and the broader lighting collection.

Why We Added This Brand

We added Hydroglow Marine Lights because underwater and dock fishing lights are a specialty category where our customers consistently ask for a trusted brand with a real manufacturing history, not a generic Amazon import. Hydroglow's 25 year track record and Made in USA positioning give us that credibility, and the product range hits both the entry point (Solar Pathway lights under $40) and the premium end (Sea Floor SF200B at $399) inside a single line. Night anglers, gig fishermen, and dock owners are all a natural fit for Lotz Outdoors, and the green and blue LED options let us serve both fresh and saltwater customers without stocking two brands. The submersible HG500G and HG1000G in particular fill a gap in our tackle-adjacent lighting selection, giving customers a purpose-built option for attracting baitfish that we did not previously carry. Compared to the generic imported LED dock lights that dominate the marketplace, Hydroglow gives us a durable, warranty-backed alternative from an established American manufacturer.

What Stood Out To Us

What stood out about Hydroglow is how narrow and disciplined the product line is for a company that has been in the market since 1999. Rather than sprawling into every marine electronics category, the brand has stayed focused on one thing: LED lighting engineered to attract fish and light waterfront property. The green and blue color choices are deliberate rather than cosmetic, chosen for their different penetration and attraction properties in fresh versus salt water, which is a design detail that regularly shows up in independent night-fishing gear coverage. The 25 year, second-generation family operation also matters for a specialty product where a failed light 30 feet down in a lake is a real service problem: an established, US-based manufacturer with a known service line is materially different from a drop-ship import. (Sources: Hydroglow product line overview Carolina Sportsman on green versus blue lighting for night fishing)

Best For

Best for dock owners who want to attract baitfish and improve nighttime visibility around a private dock or pier, night anglers and flounder or gig fishermen who need bright, generator-free lighting to draw fish, waterfront property owners looking for durable solar-powered pathway lights along a shoreline or steps, and boat owners adding above-water floodlights for a slip or a boathouse.

How It Fits Our Catalog

Hydroglow Marine Lights complements our existing fishing tackle, marine accessories, and outdoor lighting inventory. Customers building out a dock or a boat now have a specialized lighting brand alongside the rods, reels, dock hardware, and anchoring gear they already buy from us, and the solar pathway lights extend our lighting collection into a residential-adjacent use case that pairs naturally with our camping and property gear.

Brand FAQ

Customers frequently ask the following questions about Hydroglow Marine Lights.

Are Hydroglow lights actually Made in the USA?
Yes. Hydroglow markets itself as Made in America, and its corporate office and distribution operate from the Cleveland, Tennessee area. The company has been independently family-owned since it was founded in 1999.

What is the difference between green and blue Hydroglow lights?
Green light generally penetrates fresh water better and is the popular choice for lake and dock fishing lights aimed at attracting baitfish. Blue penetrates salt water more effectively and is often preferred for coastal docks and gig fishing. Both colors are available across the DockMaster, Sea Floor, and Solar Pathway lines.

How deep can the HG500G and HG1000G go?
The HG500G and HG1000G are submersible LED fishing lights designed to be lowered into the water column where baitfish and gamefish concentrate at night. Check the individual product page for the specific rated depth on your model before deploying.

Shoe-Fix and Boot-Fix Glue

Small-batch specialty adhesive brand for repairing shoes, boots, and outdoor footwear with a flexible cyanoacrylate formula that bonds in seconds.

Brand Overview

Founded: 2014 (brand registered); roots in a family shoe-repair business · HQ: NJOY Distributors, US and UK footprint · Founder: Founded by a father-and-son cobbler family; brand registered in 2014

Shoe-Fix and Boot-Fix professional shoe repair adhesive bottle beside a worn brown leather work boot on a light gray studio surface
Shoe-Fix and Boot-Fix Glue trace back to a cobbler named Ed who opened a shoe repair shop after World War II on the GI Bill, and whose son John, after four years in the US Navy, took over the family shoe-repair trade in 1980 before formally registering the Boot-Fix and Shoe-Fix glue brands in 2014. The retail brand operates under NJOY Distributors, which independent reviewers describe as a small firm selling direct and through Amazon, with company roots described on-site as being in the greater Chicago area and Florida. The adhesive itself is a flexible cyanoacrylate formulation, a category distinct from rubber-based products like Shoe Goo, and it is positioned as an independent, small-business brand rather than one owned by a larger consumer-goods conglomerate. (Sources: shoerepairglue.com About Us Ronin's Grips Analytics independent review Hiking-Boots.net independent review)

Product Categories and Related Collections

The Shoe-Fix and Boot-Fix assortment at Lotz Outdoors is small and focused: 7 SKUs covering the two main formulas (Shoe-Fix and Boot-Fix) in single 20g tubes, 2-packs, a DIY 5-Pack, and a Bulk 20-Pack for heavy repair use. The BLACK variants are pigmented for dark-soled boots and shoes where a clear line would show. At Lotz Outdoors the new Shoe-Fix and Boot-Fix assortment lands in our adhesives and sealants collection, and it pairs naturally with our Lacrosse hunting and rubber boots collection for customers already invested in field boots that will eventually need a resole or a sidewall repair.

Featured Products at Lotz Outdoors

The DIY 5-Pack STAFF PICK The DIY 5-Pack Boot-Fix Shoe Glue BEST VALUE Boot-Fix Shoe Glue Bulk User 20-Pack MOST UNIQUE Bulk User 20-Pack

Why We Added This Brand

We added Shoe-Fix and Boot-Fix because outdoor footwear takes a beating, and the most common question we hear from hunting and hiking customers is how to extend the life of an expensive pair of boots without paying for a full resole. Traditional rubber-based products like Shoe Goo require minutes to hours of clamp time and can bulk up a repair, while Boot-Fix and Shoe-Fix cure in seconds and stay flexible under the constant flex of a walking sole. That gives us a quick, easy repair option for a hunter with a delaminating pac boot in the middle of the season, or a hiker with a peeling sole three days into a trip. The 20-Pack option also opens up the small-scale field repair and outfitter markets, where guides and camps go through single-use tubes quickly and need bulk supply. Adding an established, independent adhesive brand alongside our field boots also lets us cross-sell a repair kit at checkout rather than losing that sale to a hardware store.

What Stood Out To Us

What stood out about Shoe-Fix and Boot-Fix is the specific chemistry choice. The formula is a flexible cyanoacrylate, which is different from the generic super glue most customers already have in a drawer. Standard cyanoacrylate cures very hard and cracks under repeated flex, which is exactly what a shoe sole does with every step. The flexible version stays elastic after cure, which independent reviewers cite as the reason it survives resoling and sidewall repairs where generic super glue fails. Independent comparison testing found Boot-Fix edges ahead of Shoe Goo on cure speed and durability for straightforward bonding jobs, while noting Shoe Goo remains better suited to heavier gap-filling repairs, a genuine trade-off rather than a universal superiority claim. (Sources: Hiking-Boots.net glue review DHgate Boot-Fix versus Shoe Goo comparison)

Best For

Best for hunters and hikers who need a quick field repair when a boot sole starts to separate, outfitters and camps stocking a small first-aid style repair kit for the season, shoe and boot enthusiasts extending the life of expensive footwear between professional resoles, and anglers or paddlers repairing rubber wading boots, deck boots, or river shoes where flex and water resistance both matter.

How It Fits Our Catalog

Shoe-Fix and Boot-Fix Glue complements our existing footwear and adhesive inventory. Customers buying a pair of Lacrosse hunting boots, a wading boot, or a work-grade rubber boot can now add a repair tube to the same order, and outfitters restocking seasonal repair supplies can pull the Bulk 20-Pack alongside the rest of their outfitting inventory. It also complements our marine adhesive and sealant collection for customers who repair kayak seats, tent floors, and boat hardware in the same weekend.

Brand FAQ

Customers frequently ask the following questions about Shoe-Fix and Boot-Fix Glue.

How is Boot-Fix different from Shoe Goo?
Boot-Fix is a flexible cyanoacrylate that cures in seconds and stays elastic after cure, while Shoe Goo is a rubber-based adhesive that cures over minutes to hours and is thicker for gap-filling. Independent reviewers rate Boot-Fix ahead on cure speed and clean bonding, and Shoe Goo ahead on heavy gap-filling repairs.

Will it hold on a wet or greasy sole?
Clean and dry the bonding surface before applying, ideally with isopropyl alcohol on the sole and upper. Cyanoacrylate bonds do not tolerate moisture or oil films and will release quickly if applied to a wet sole. Once cured, the bond is water-resistant enough for wading boots and deck boots.

Is the BLACK version different from the regular formula?
The BLACK version is pigmented for use on dark soles and dark uppers where a clear glue line would show. The base chemistry (flexible cyanoacrylate) is the same as the standard formula.

ShopThermalOptics

Hunting accessories brand offering patented T-post and tree-mount trail camera hardware, including Tree Biter Pro, Tri-Claw, and multi-arm articulating mounts for game cameras and solar panels.

Brand Overview

Founded: See below · HQ: US-based specialty hunting accessories retailer · Founder: Independent hunting accessories reseller

ShopThermalOptics patented T-post trail camera mount with articulating arm clamp mechanism on light gray studio background
ShopThermalOptics is a US-based e-commerce specialty retailer whose broader lineup includes thermal cameras, night vision optics, and rifle scopes, but the SKUs added at Lotz Outdoors are specifically its patented trail camera mounting hardware line. The lineup at Lotz includes the Tree Biter Pro Tree Mount, Patented T-Post Trail Camera Mounts (with 1 or 2 articulating arms), a Patented T-Post Mount for 2 trail cameras with no arms and direct mount, a Patented Feed Block Mount T-Post, a heavy-duty Tree Strap, and a Tri-Claw Trail Camera and Solar Panel Clamp Mount. The trail camera mounts are described as US-made hunting accessories built to survive year-round outdoor exposure. No standalone corporate filing or founder biography could be verified for the ShopThermalOptics storefront distinct from its retail role. (Sources: ShopThermalOptics homepage Independent unboxing and hands-on YouTube review of the T-post trail camera mount Reconyx T-post camera mount comparison)

Product Categories and Related Collections

Despite the Thermal Optics name in the vendor field, the ShopThermalOptics assortment at Lotz Outdoors is entirely trail camera and feeder mounting hardware. The 7 SKUs cover T-post mounts (single-arm, dual-arm, and direct 2-camera), tree mounts (Tree Biter Pro and Tree Strap), a feed block mount for hunting property setups, and a Tri-Claw clamp mount that works for both game cameras and solar panels. At Lotz Outdoors the new ShopThermalOptics assortment lands in our game cameras collection, our broader hunting and fishing collection, and pairs with our solar panels collection for hunters running battery-supplemented trail cameras.

Why We Added This Brand

We added the ShopThermalOptics trail camera mounts because they solve a common and specific problem for hunting customers: how to keep a game camera stable, oriented correctly, and mounted somewhere other than an inconvenient tree trunk. T-post mounting is a proven technique, but the standard field-store options are usually generic metal brackets that rust out after a season or lock up mid-adjustment. The ShopThermalOptics line uses a heavy-duty plastic T-post grip that avoids the rust and seizing problems common with metal mounts left in the woods year-round, and the multi-arm and multi-camera configurations let a hunter deploy two cameras and a solar panel on a single post. The Tri-Claw clamp is also unusual in that it targets both cameras and solar panels, giving hunters a single-piece mounting solution for combined power-and-camera setups. Compared to the Reconyx and Tactacam T-post mounts already visible in the market, ShopThermalOptics tends to cover more articulation and multi-panel configurations at a lower price point.

What Stood Out To Us

What stood out about ShopThermalOptics is the deliberate material choice on the T-post mounts. An independent hands-on YouTube review specifically calls out the heavy-duty plastic construction as intentional, chosen to avoid the rust and seizure issues that plague metal mounts left out through winter freeze-thaw cycles. The line is also patent-anchored: multiple SKUs are labeled as patented mounting systems, which is unusual in a category where most competing offerings are generic brackets rebadged across brands. The addition of a Feed Block Mount T-Post (for hunting property attractant setups) and a Tri-Claw combined camera-and-solar-panel clamp reflects a real understanding of how hunters actually run cameras across a working property, rather than a generic accessory kit. (Sources: Independent YouTube review of the T-post trail camera mount Reconyx competing T-post mount for context)

Best For

Best for deer and turkey hunters running trail cameras across a working property who need reliable, rust-free mounts that survive winter freeze-thaw, hunters combining a trail camera with a solar panel to extend battery life on a remote camera, property managers deploying cameras and feeders together on food plots and travel corridors, and anyone tired of stripping out of oak bark with generic tree-screw mounts.

How It Fits Our Catalog

ShopThermalOptics mounts slot into Lotz Outdoors as a natural companion to our existing game camera inventory. Customers buying a trail camera can now add the mount they actually need, and the Tri-Claw clamp pairs with our solar panels collection for hunters extending camera battery life. The lineup also complements our broader hunting and property setup gear, giving a working-land hunter a one-stop path through cameras, mounts, feed block mounts, and solar in a single order.

Brand FAQ

Customers frequently ask the following questions about ShopThermalOptics.

Do the T-post mounts fit any T-post?
The Patented T-Post mounts are designed for standard steel T-posts commonly used for fencing and hunting property lines. Check the product page for the specific dimensions and any adapters needed for oversized posts.

Will the plastic hold up outdoors year-round?
The T-post mounts are made from heavy-duty plastic specifically to resist the rust and seizure problems that affect metal mounts left in the woods. Independent reviewers report the plastic construction holds up through winter freeze-thaw cycles that would corrode a comparable metal bracket.

Can the Tri-Claw hold both a camera and a solar panel at the same time?
Yes. The Tri-Claw Trail Camera and Solar Panel Clamp Mount is designed to grip and orient both a game camera and a solar panel on the same tree or post, so hunters can extend camera battery life without adding a second mount.

Staff Picks from This Week's New Brands

Four brands this week means we pull one pick from each. Every call-out is a product our buying team put hands on while evaluating the lines.

  • Best Value: Boot-Fix Shoe Glue at $12.95. A single 20g tube of the professional-grade flexible cyanoacrylate adhesive that cures in seconds and stays flexible under the flex of a walking sole. This is the tube every hunter, hiker, and paddler should stash in a gear box for the moment a boot sole starts to separate.
  • Most Innovative: Patented T-Post Trail Camera Mount with 2 Articulating Arms at $49.99. The patented T-post design with two articulating arms lets a single fence post carry two trail cameras or one camera plus a solar panel, and the heavy-duty plastic construction sidesteps the rust and seizure problems that kill generic metal mounts after a season.
  • Most Unique: Scrimshaw Damascus Straight Razor with Bone Handle at $144.00. Hand-forged pattern-welded Damascus with a bone handle carrying manually etched scrimshaw nautical artwork. No two razors are identical, which is the point. This one earned its slot as a gift-grade collectible piece.
  • Editor's Pick: HG500G Underwater Fishing Light at $119.00. The submersible LED fishing light is the clearest example of what Hydroglow has been doing since 1999: a purpose-built underwater green LED tuned to attract baitfish and gamefish at night, from a family-run US manufacturer with a real service line.

This Week in New Brands at Lotz Outdoors

The week of June 29 to July 12 added four new brands and 281 new products across four very different corners of the catalog. The ShopThermalOptics trail camera mounts added 7 SKUs of patented T-post and tree-bracket hardware for hunters running multi-camera setups.
